Amref Health Africa

Amref Health Africa partners with communities in sub-Saharan Africa to help them secure their right to health and break the cycle of poverty. Founded in 1957, Amref has over sixty years of experience of training health workers and supporting health systems. Amref’s programmes are designed around women and girls, who are often the gatekeepers to their community and family, and the most affected by inequalities in healthcare. In 2019, Amref directly supported 5,387,861 people through its programmes. https://amrefuk.org/
